Newfield Medical Group are pleased to announce that we now have a mental health specialist working within the practice every Thursday. This service is known as the PALMS service and is available to patients aged 16-64 (not at school) who may be experiencing mental health difficulties.
Patients who are not currently seeing a mental health professional can use the service and it is suitable for patients who may be struggling with low mood, self-esteem, distressing life events or other difficulties that you would like help with.
The poster below explains further. If you feel an appointment with the PALMS service meets the above, please give our team a call at the practice and you will be navigated accordingly to PALMS if felt appropriate.
