Management Team:
Business Manager: Mr David Ramsay LL.B (University of Abertay, Dundee) 2008 HND Adult Nursing (University of Dundee) 2001
David is responsible for overseeing all business aspects of the practice including strategic management and planning, human resource management, financial management, complaints / feedback and the practice’s GMS contractual obligations. David joined Newfield Medical Group in January 2025 with nearly 25 years of experience within the NHS having spent 16 of those years in general practice.
Administration Team:
GP Projects & Administration Team Supervisor: Mairi
Mairi is responsible for a variety of areas within the practice including the supervision of our administration team, patient and staff comfort, front of house duties, staff rotas and assisting with private claim work (such as work requested from solicitors or insurance companies). Mairi is also responsible for overseeing the governance of our patient volunteers and works closely with our Practice Community Coordinator.
Senior Administrator: Laura
Laura is responsible for the areas of information technology, practice chronic disease recall systems, nursing homes, arranging appointment for 6 week baby checks, coil clinics and a variety of other administrative duties.
Administration Team: Lisa, Sharon, Pamela, Paul & Irene
Our helpful administration team perform a variety of important tasks within the practice such as issuing repeat prescriptions, assisting patients with queries, updating patient records and providing basic information on services and results.
